I want to remind you today that at the cross, the ground is level. There are no big people there, no little people, no smart people, no uneducated just ordinary people like you and me. And God will use anyone who says, “Here am I, Lord, use me.” The Bible has many stories of people used powerfully by God. Don’t just read them and think they’re interesting but somehow don’t apply to you. Believe and have faith in God that He can also supernaturally use you just as He has done with others throughout history. Recognize today that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, is now living inside of you. He gives gifts to you so they can be used to bring glory to God, and you can become a living testimony of God’s power on the earth. So take your eyes off yourself today your flaws, your failures and put your eyes on the promises of Christ. Answer His call, because you are God’s plan to reach your generation. It’s time to pray. 

In Luke 23:39-43, we see two men also crucified beside Jesus Christ, one hurling insults, mocking Him even in his final breaths, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” It wasn’t a cry for mercy; it was defiance. But the other thief, something awakened in his heart. He said to his friend, “Do you not even fear God?” In pain, yet clear-eyed, he saw the truth. And these words came from his lips: “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” He had no theology degree, no time to be baptized, no moment to join a church group. He just turned in his heart toward Jesus. And that was enough. Have we made it too complicated today? All God requires of us is an honest heart. Turn to Him today. Lay aside every excuse. Simply call on His name and say, “Lord, remember me. Save me.” It’s time to pray. 

I remember in New York City, during a Tuesday night service at Times Square Church, when a deep burden filled my heart. At the altar call, I pleaded with anyone who hadn’t yet surrendered to Christ. I said, “You don’t know if you have another tomorrow.” Yet no one responded to that second altar call. Minutes later, just down the street, a man in his 40s collapsed and died. I rushed over to him, but he was gone. The questions filled my heart. Was he in church? Was he carrying a Bible? Was he the one? You know, life is fragile, and eternity is a certain thing. We live as if we have endless tomorrows, but for some, today might be the last chance to escape judgment and meet the mercy and forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ. Don’t walk away from any moment of conviction without surrendering fully to Jesus. My friend, He’s calling you right now. Talk to Him. Turn to Him. It’s time to pray. 

It’s troubling to do devotions at home while your life doesn’t reflect those beliefs, especially in front of your children. Many children turn away from God for this very reason. We all need to pray for hearts that align with our faith, and this responsibility is for every one of us. If you seek change, be ready to walk away from anything that doesn’t honor God. Solomon’s choice led him to personal ruin, and it reminds us that our actions affect not just us, but also those we love. Let’s commit today to living authentically and applying to ourselves the truth that we know. In Matthew 27:37-44, we see Jesus Christ crucified between two thieves. These were men who chose to steal, knowing that crucifixion was the likely end. Why would anyone take that kind of risk? Were they that desperate, maybe fully hopeless? Maybe they thought there was no other way to survive or provide for their families. I don’t know. The cross wasn’t just pain; it was public shame. It was the worst kind of death in that time. Still, these men gambled with eternity. And today, people do exactly the same. They know there’s a heaven. They know there’s a hell. They know the consequences, yet still choose to live without Christ. Don’t take that risk. If you haven’t yet, turn to Jesus. Do it now. He’s still in the middle, still reaching out for the desperate, still offering mercy right now. It’s time to pray.  

When we came to Christ, our captivity was taken captive. We were forgiven of our sin and given God’s Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gave us giftings that make you and me supernatural beings. The third person of God, the Holy Spirit Himself, is now living inside of us. Therefore, there’s no limit to what God can do through us. The only limits are the limits we choose to put upon Him. When you and I begin to walk in faith, we won’t allow our difficulties and struggles to hinder us from being what we’re called to be and going where we’re called to go. You and I don’t have to wait to be perfect to be used by God, because it’s never been about us. It’s all about Him. It’s about the power of the living God that enables us to do His will. As you and I trust God in our journey, He will give us what we need to obtain the victory all for His glory. Talk to God about it today. It’s time to pray. 

In this world, we teach that God is omnipresent. That means He is everywhere all the time. His Holy Spirit whispers to us, always calling us back to Him whether we’re walking down the street or in places we shouldn’t be. In a bar, a club, or even in a quiet moment, God’s Spirit is still there, reaching out. The evidence of God literally surrounds us. Every bird in flight, every sunrise and sunset declare His glory. As Paul says in the book of Romans, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made… so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). The very heavens testify to the existence and reality of God. One day, when you and I stand before Him, if we ask who He is, we will see that He has shown us His presence all along. I want to challenge you open your eyes today. Look around you. God’s presence is evident. He is everywhere. Respond to His call. He’s calling you today. Ask Him about it. It’s time to pray. 

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). We are not ashamed of the testimony of Christ, for it is the only testimony that will endure. Everything else, the city of New York, Wall Street, the towers of wealth and pride will vanish one day like a sandcastle in the tide. But what is built on Christ will remain. The shaking has begun, and more is coming. Yet by the grace of God, you and I will stand. And when the dust settles, there will be a shout of praise in our hearts. We’ll be saying, Thank You, Jesus. It will not be fear, not despair, but only praise. Take five minutes today and say it out loud: I will not fear. I will stand. No matter what happens, thank You, Jesus, for Your promise to keep me. It’s time to pray. 

Let’s avoid ending our lives bitter and disillusioned. This can happen to anyone, even the wisest among us. If we think it can’t happen to us, then we’re being naïve. We may not fully understand what actually lies in our hearts, and if we become complacent in studying God’s Word or begin to neglect our prayer life, we risk missing vital insights—even in the church we attend. Instead of thinking others need to hear these messages, we must first apply them to our own lives, distancing ourselves from toxic relationships and resisting worldly seductions. Even the most vile of sinners lives in a world where God is still present where His mercy is still trying to reach, and His Spirit is still calling. But can you imagine waking up one day in a place where God is not? A place where the cry of your voice carries no sound, where the darkness is so heavy it can be touched, where there is weeping, gnashing of teeth, and no end in sight. The conscience lives on there, remembering every opportunity we once had to receive Christ and rejected. Some mock the cross of Christ, like the thieves did beside Jesus on the day He died for us. Others gamble with eternity, pushing aside truth for “some other time.” But there is no greater risk than hearing the gospel and walking away while you still have time to turn to God. Don’t gamble with your soul today. If you can hear His voice, respond. Talk to Him. It’s time to pray. 

I want to remind you today that God doesn’t choose mighty or noble people. He chooses the nobodies, the weak, the foolish people of this world. He puts His Spirit upon us and enables us to do exploits that we could never have done in our own strength. And when the work is done through us, all the glory goes to Him. All that God requires of us is to have an open heart that’s willing to hear His voice, and when we hear it, obey it. We tend to look at our frailties and our weaknesses, which makes us wonder why God would even want to use us for His glory. Yet for reasons only fully understood by God Himself, you and I are the center of His affection. We are the people through whom He chooses to manifest His glory on the earth from generation to generation. Thank God. Will you allow God to use you to be a testimony of His great power in our generation? It’s time to pray. 

I remember years ago walking the beat as a young police officer. One day, I stepped into a church and sat quietly in the back row. I took off my hat, and out loud I said, “God, if You are real, I wouldn’t mind knowing who You are.” Now, it wasn’t much of a prayer, but it was sincere. It wasn’t just a question, it was a cry from my heart. And thank God, He answered me. Not long after that, someone came and told me exactly who God is and how I could get to know Him. The Scripture tells us that “the heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1), and if anyone truly seeks Him, He will reveal Himself. One day, every soul will give an account of what they did with that revelation. If your heart is crying out today like mine once did, just ask God to show you who He is and what plan He has for your life. God is listening to you. Talk to Him today. It’s time to pray. 

There is power released when the Holy Spirit moves, a power that’s not rooted in strength or talent, but in the mercy of God. Mercy is what holds us when judgment should have crushed us. As David once wrote, “If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared” (Psalm 130:3-4). Mercy is not passive. It breaks chains, kicks down doors of despair, and floods our darkest places with light. Where there is no hope, mercy steps in. God can take what feels like a bag lunch of a life, small, ordinary, even broken and multiply it to feed many others. Take today what you have, however little it might seem, and offer it to God. I guarantee He will take the little that you and I give Him, and He will use it for His glory. Turn to Him today. Talk to Him about it now. It’s time to pray. 

Ask God to plant his song deep within you. The song that says, God is for me. Who can be against me? The journey may be hard, but he will provide. He will heal. He will guide your steps. Just like David, cry out, “God, put this song in me.” A song of trust that stands firm in trial. A song that won’t fade with time but will last until our final breath. This is the song of confidence in God. A song that others will see and believe. Ask God today for this unshakable song of faith and trust that he’s writing on your heart. Join with us. I was speaking with a young man just last week. He had run out of gas. Oh, hallelujah. He’d run out of options, out of strength, out of money, out of work. He sat across from me, eyes weary and brokenhearted, telling me how miserable his life had become. And when he looked at me for advice, I looked him in the eye and said, Welcome home. Thank God you’ve finally come to the end of yourself, because that’s where it begins. It’s not in strength that we come to God, but in surrender. He came back to where it all started. For many years he had been a believer in salvation through Jesus Christ. He returned to the only source of life and hope and that is God Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ. Don’t despise the end of yourself. It’s the place where coming home begins. You’re in a good spot. If you feel hopeless today, just get up and start walking back to God. He will meet you on the way. He will love you, forgive you. It’s time to pray. 

You know, today we live in a generation of liars, incivility, and moral confusion. We have entire towns now in America that have been declared emergency zones because of drug addiction. It’s unbelievable what’s going on in this society. We are quickly degenerating into absolute decadence and confusion. However, God has called us to be a light in the middle of all this darkness and chaos. God will use us to bring His name to reputation. He isn’t surprised by what’s going on around us. He already has a plan. That plan is to fill His people with the Holy Spirit so that you and I can be the voice in the wilderness that proclaims the goodness of our God. We are the ones who are called to display the love of God even to our enemies. So let’s ask God to give us the grace to be the light that we should be in our time. It’s time to pray. 

I’m grateful to God that everything we place into the hands of Christ is safe, including our children, our marriages, our families, andevery part of our lives. He is faithful to keep what we entrust to Him. And yes, I believe that He can bring discomfort, even misery, into the lives of those who are far from Him. It’s not to destroy them, but to awaken them. So I say, hasten the misery, Lord, of those who are far away from You. Let every false comfort disappear. Let every road that leads away from You be a dead end. Let every lie of happiness that this world offers fall flat until they come to themselves, remember Your love, and come running home. Say it in faith today: Lord, do whatever it takes to bring my loved ones home. God is faithful. God will answer. Pray this prayer today. Pray it now. It’s time to pray. 

I want to remind you today that every breath we have is a gift, it’s not a guarantee. As the old hymn says, “Oh for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise,” but even ten thousand tongues wouldn’t be enough. God has shown mercy, He’s forgiven our sin, and He’s given us strength even in our darkest hours. I urge you today, press on, press through, hold tightly to the hand of God, because difficult days are coming. Storms will shake everything that’s built on pride, comfort, and human wisdom. But if your life is built on the rock, Jesus Christ, you will stand. The wind may howl, the rain may pour, but your house won’t fall. It’s not because of you or me, it’s because of Jesus Christ and His life within us. Take time today to thank God for your life, and ask Him one simple question: Am I building on the rock? It’s time to pray. 

Don’t be discouraged if you’re still learning to trust. The song of confidence in Christ will come. The journey to faith goes through valleys of sorrow and difficulty, but in time, God writes his song on your heart. I’ve found that the greatest encouragement isn’t just words; it has come from those who’ve walked with God through their own trials. Their lives sing of his faithfulness without lyrics. You’ll get there. The ground may shake beneath you, but God’s hand will hold you. Your thoughts may falter, but his word will sustain you. One day, your life will be a testimony, a song that others will see and be strengthened by. Keep walking, keep trusting, keep praising, keep praying. John 10:10 I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I want to challenge you today. Many of you have come seeking just a word of encouragement. You’re feeling drained and that’s understandable. But remember, you are called to something greater than that. God invites you to reach out and claim the abundant life that He has for you. When I was a young believer, I often sat eager for change, longing for something deeper. Despite my own struggles as a husband and father, I wanted what God had for me. I reached out in faith, asking for the full journey that He intended for my life. Because of that choice, I’ve seen countless lives transformed by Christ, thousands, in fact. Take a moment today to reflect on what God is calling you to do. Reach out in faith, asking Him for His purpose in your life, and be prepared to impact those who live all around you. They need to see Christ in you now. It’s time to pray.
